As a florist, I take great care in selecting flowers that are in season for the arrangements I create.
Choosing flowers that are seasonal ensures that they are fresh and readily available. It also means they are grown not flown.
Each season brings its own unique selection of flowers. Overall, selecting the right flowers for each season requires careful attention to detail and a deep understanding of the various types of flowers available.
I take pride in curating beautiful arrangements that bring joy and happiness to all my customers and for whatever occasion.
Whilst the world stopped during Lockdown, in 2020, I loved watching the seasons blossom and bloom. I have grown my own vegetables and cut flowers for over 10 years and I was lucky enough to be able to immerse myself in my garden during those months. Amid all the uncertainty, green shoots and emerging flower buds were an uplifting sight.
That is when the seed of ‘Georgie’s Garden Flowers’ took hold. After a career in fashion and still-life styling I could bring what I have always enjoyed creating in my own home - vases of garden grown flowers - to other people’s homes.
